Author Anu Vidgrén brings espionage theme to the stage at Grand

Espionage and intelligence operations, as well as the gray area between the two, are highly relevant topics in today’s global society.  The feeling that someone or something is constantly monitoring our movements no longer surprises us. Especially not Anu Vidgrén, who has a diplomatic background and recently wrote a her first book on the subject.

Vidgrén’s debut novel Suojelusenkeli was released at the beginning of the fall, and in connection with the book, she is visiting the Borgå Rotary Club on November 19 at Grand. She will be interviewed by her husband, Lasse Sinikallas, a specialist in the intelligence field, whereafter he will provide his expert analysis of the events in the book.

The event will conclude with an open discussion and the opportunity to get a signed copy of the book from the author. The event is free of charge.
