Cantor Eric-Olof Söderström celebrates with a concert in Porvoo Cathedral

The retirement of Cantor Eric-Olof Söderström will be celebrated with a concert in Porvoo Cathedral on 2 February at 17:00. The vocal group Ensemble del Duomo, made up of parish cantors and invited singers, will perform. The group is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
The concert programme includes a world premiere of Psalm 103 by Minna Wesslund and music by William Byrd, Sulo Salonen, Johannes Brahms and Dietrich Buxtehude. Participating musicians are Fanny Söderström (piano), Heikki Hämäläinen (cello) and Jarkko Yli-Annala (organ).
Free admission, programme fee €10 in favour of the Joint Responsibility fundraiser. Diaconal worker Henrika Lemberg will present the fundraiser. After the concert, everyone is welcome to the parish centre at Lundagatan 5.
