The explosive and entertaining cult band Dalindèo will perform at Taidetehdas in April 2025.
Get ready for a night full of psychedelic and energetic surf-twang jazz in the Tehdassali hall. The band is, in a way, more of a rock band than a jazz project!
Founded in 2004 by composer and guitarist Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen, Dalindèo is one of Finland’s longest-running jazz ensembles. The sextet has performed at nearly all domestic jazz festivals and also at Ilosaarirock, Flow, and Naamat festivals, as well as internationally in countries like Germany, Sweden, and Morocco.
With over 200 concerts under their belt, Dalindèo is known for their explosive and entertaining live performances. After their Emma Award-winning Kallio album, released in 2013, the band gained a much broader fanbase beyond traditional jazz audiences. Their lineup has remained unchanged since 2005, resulting in a unique synergy in their playing.
