DOME presents: UTOPIA collages

The world is war-torn. However, we are safe in Porvoo. Art enables free imagination and ideas: freedom of thought. In the UTOPIA collage task, 7th grade students at the school Pääskytien koulu envision new realities, cities, and worlds. During the spring art classes, collage technique and image composition were practiced first by cutting and gluing by hand. After that, the students created their own digital collages using image editing software. In the inventive, rich digital collages, artificial intelligence and digital drawing have been utilized. The images hide many stories. The pop-up exhibition features the works of nearly 200 students.
