Helka Heinonen and Azar Saiyar: Things to hold

As artists, we have been united by dealing with growing up, memory, the relationship between people and the environment. We have also been interested in exploring the possibilities of moving image narration. In the Things to Hold exhibition, we bring video works and other parts of works together to a common space. We look at the themes of memory, preservation and the environment in our works from different perspectives. At the same time, the works create connections and new associations when they meet in a common space.

The works of the exhibition and the work of the artists have been supported by AVEK, Kone Foundation, and Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
