Jewelry and fiber art exhibition “In the Embrace of Nature”

After 15 years as an active jewelry artist in other locations, I, Alexandra Lindqvist, am now exhibiting for the first time in my old hometown with the exhibition ”In the Embrace of Nature” at Kulturhuset Grand.

Using textile and natural materials I create sculptural jewelry that can be both worn on the body and hung on the wall. I use both goldsmithing and other craft techniques, and in recent years I have delved into the tufting/punch needle technique, with which most of the works in the exhibition are made. In my work, I am fascinated by the relationship between the jewelry and the body and how the pieces change when worn. The wearer becomes part of the artwork and influences the whole with their personality, appearance, gestures, and movements.

The exhibition is open in the main hall of Kulturhuset Grand throughout August. Welcome!
