Porvoo band Morimus celebrates its new album at Zentra
The Porvoo-Sipoo-based folk-influenced indie rock band Morimus has been rehearsing at Pensselitehdas and released its debut album Buried Under The Leaves When Everyone Leaves at the end of January. The band will celebrate the album with a concert at Zentra on 7 March.
‘This is the first album release by a band rehearsing at Pensselitehdas, and I am very excited about it. The band has developed tremendously in a short period of time, both in their songwriting and in their sound,’ says youth worker Lasse Yrjölä, who is producing the concert.
Before the concert, the audience is offered coffee and a bun. The evening will be opened by the progressive-influenced rock band Rappiotaide, who will also perform at Pensselitehdas.
The event is free of charge, open to all ages (under 13 accompanied by an adult) and drug-free.
