Tickets and prices for public transport in Porvoo

Tickets purchased from Matkahuolto’s application Trips and Tickets can be used on bus lines supplied by the City of Porvoo. Single tickets, serial tickets and season tickets can be found on the application Trips and Tickets by entering “Porvoo” in the search field. Single tickets can also be purchased on the bus with a debit card or in cash. The serial tickets and season tickets by the City of Porvoo can also be used in some traffic lines supplied by market-based companies and ELY, more detailed information to be found further down the page.

You can also buy serial tickets or season tickets on behalf of another person via the application Matkahuolto’s Trips and Tickets, and transfer the unused ticket to their mobile device.

A traveller who does not have access to application Trips and Tickets can on the Matkahuolto website purchase a travel card with the desired amount of money downloaded onto it. Read more on the Matkahuolto web page.

NOTE! Ticket products, prices, age groups and discounts are different in the traffic supplied by ELY and market-based traffic. Tickets for some of the Ely lines and market-based traffic lines can be found on the Matkahuolto’s application Trips and Tickets. The validity of season and serial tickets (Matkahuolto Trips and Tickets app) for public transport in Porvoo is expanded in a way that allows travel on certain bus lines purchased by ELY and market-based bus lines within the Porvoo City region.

The single ticket is valid for 60 minutes and permits the ticket holder to change buses within this time. This is possible only onto a bus purchased by the City of Porvoo. For example, a return trip is possible if it starts during the validity of the ticket.

A seasonal ticket is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. It permits unlimited travel. The ticket is personal.

Serial tickets are valid 60 days from the date of purchase. One passenger can pay for another passenger’s journey.

Matkahuolto’s Nationwide serial tickets, Uusimaa’s and Häme’s season tickets and serial tickets are also valid.

• You may bring to the bus a folding bicycle or a bicycle that belongs to a child under school age.
