Art Schools Exhibitions and Co-operation

Porvoo Art School organizes student work exhibitions each year at the end of the fall and spring semesters. The exhibitions are held both in the school’s own premises and other exhibition venues in the city.

Porvoo Art School collaborates with kindergartens, afternoon clubs, schools, medical facilities and various associations.

Porvoo Culture School is a joint project between the Porvoo Music Institute, Porvoo Art School, Porvoo Museum, Porvoo Library and Cultural Service.

In Culture School you get to know the local culture, in particular history, music, art, theatre, dance and film. 

Day care centres and after-school clubs have the opportunity to participate in art education either in the Art School or day care facilities.

Swedish Culture Fund supports the Swedish daycare centres and schools (primary schools, secondary vocational schools and polytechnics) joint projects with the Art School.

Porvoo Art School works as a consultant for art education and teaching in the visual arts in the Porvoo region. Associations and businesses can order Art School services, such as training courses and a variety of art projects. The purchaser is responsible for the financing of any cooperation.
