Porvoo medal
The Porvoo medal is awarded for distinguished activity for the City of Porvoo.
Organisations, associations and private individuals can nominate a person who has been successful in promoting Porvoo or the spirit of Porvoo in their activities in the field of culture, science, sport, health care and social services, the economy or community work.
Nominations along with written grounds for the nominations must be submitted by 15.30 on 31 October 2023. Kompassi can help you with the electronic form. Alternatively, the nomination can also be submitted to Kompassi on paper (Rihkamatori B, 06100 Porvoo).
The Porvoo medal is awarded each year. The City Board selects the recipient among the nominees. The medal may only be awarded to the same person once. The names of the nominees will not be made public. Information about the recipient of the Porvoo Medal is public.
